Finall got all the characters and background finished of this shot. I noticed, if I have only one character synchronized to the rhythm of the drumms, the movement of the others does not really matter, which gives me a lot of freedom in the composition. The male and female adult taiko drummers are variously arrangable. They can stand individually but also perform in pairs, as they both have a moment when their arms are completely stretched to the side.
This is one of my longest shots and there is also a reuse of it. I think like this the shot works already quite well and there is lots of simultaneous action going on, so the 12 seconds don't seem to get boring. but I'm planning to get even more dynamic in, by using camera movement, especially since the background is set up in different layers, too.
