Scene 08 : Screenshots

While Hiko admires the "kawaii" octopus at the takoyaki stall, a crowd of green Baka Cows is jumping past in the background.

A close up of the two octopus, sitting on the stall.

One of the decoration gates which kind of reminds of a fish face is spitting happy stars.

The happy stars are flying to the takoyaki stall where Hiko is. The two octopus jump off and ride on the stars around Hiko into the sky. This scene actually shows where Hiko's name comes from. I wanted her hair to resemble a flame. Her name shall mean "fire child", put together of the Japanese kanji for fire, called "hi" and the ending "ko" which means child.

Scene 07 : Screenshots

In this scene the camera follows the little demon, which happily jumps around to enlighten the gates as the sun goes down.
This is the transition scene from day time to night at Tanabata.
